About Jerry

Jerry Johnson has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience in sales, leasing, and advisory services. His expertise spans office, medical, retail, and mixed-use properties, providing clients with a strategic perspective to achieve their real estate objectives.

Born in Würzburg, Germany, Jerry moved to Jacksonville Beach in 1979 always considering "Jax" his hometown. He earned a BA degree in Real Estate, with a minor in Marketing, from the University of North Florida. He began his career with Koger Properties in Jacksonville. He then spent nearly three decades in San Diego, working for Coldwell Banker Commercial, Newmark, and Space Advisors, where he spent more than 15 years. During frequent visits, he closely followed Jacksonville’s evolution. He recently returned to Jacksonville Beach to be closer to family and reconnect with the area that inspired his career in commercial real estate.

In Jacksonville, Jerry represented clients including Pitney Bowes, Landstar Transportation, and Food Lion in multiple site selection assignments. In San Diego, he completed transactions for clients including Keller Williams, Microsoft, Surgery Associates of San Diego, and NStore Communications. Jerry has also completed transactions in Colorado, Montana, and Utah.

His volunteer work includes the American Red Cross Lifesaving Association, MS Society, Surfrider Foundation, Junior Achievement, Meals on Wheels, and German Shepherd Rescue. Living in Jacksonville Beach, Jerry enjoys daily walks on the beach with "Dude," his Akita-German Shepherd mix. Hobbies include surfing, paddleboarding, cycling, and travel. Travels include Germany, New Zealand, the Maldives, Cuba, Costa Rica, Baja California, Mexico, Barbados, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
